The new look monkey pirate zombie is coming very soon (hopefully early September) but so keen was I to bring you the new homepage that I've gone live with it earlier than I originally planned. So the new homepage is up, but consider it in beta/under construction for now, as it's not 100% finished. I'm going to work on the rest of the site, then I'm going to go back and finalize the design, so let me know what you think. The main thing to notice is that the news is moving to the front page so after the relaunch this page will remain for the news archive but you'll need to visit the frontpage if you want to get the latest news from now on.

I've been beavering away behind the scenes working on the all new look, and dead fancy it is too. Seeing as I'm rebuilding the whole kit and caboodle (whatever they are) I'll be rebuilding the links page for the first time in ages So basically, now is a good time to send me your sites of any you think I should link to, Drop me an email!

I've been mulling over a redesign to the site for some time, but today I have quite possibly made some final decisions to how it's going to work and look. I say "quite possibly" because I still may change my mind again! Watch this space for more news soon!

I have finally got a shiny new computer. I am pretty much up and running but most of my documents and files are currently on my old computer. Which means I get to have the 'fun' of getting them onto my new machine. On the plus side, this means I'm actually now running a system that' actually fast enough to run the latest version of flash -up until now I've still been running it, but it's been running pretty slow! So a result it makes working with it all more pleasurable and easier. Which could mean more flashy goodness for you guys than ever. Possibly. Watch this space!

The much delayed next episode of Trailer Trash is tantalisingly close- it's very close to completion so keep an eye out. In the meantime here's a new piece of Stuff and Nonsense drawn to celebrate my wee niece's' first birthday.

So, I fully intended to have Trailer Trash finished by now, but unfortunately, I came down with a pesky summer flu that was most unwelcome. Since I've been feeling more back to normal I've knocked out three new photoshops. Not only that but I have now stuck all the photoshops together in something that in an inspired choice has been named the Photoshop Gallery. You can check it out here and see the brand new additions.

I've been busy

So I wanted to surprise you with something new out of the blue but Flash in not cooperating. I've been working on reanimating Barry's dating video as part 2 of UD8.tv (thought I'd forgotten eh?) but although it's basically finished, when I published it the sound has gone out of sync, and I don't know why. And frankly I've had enough for today. However you can click here to see it in out-of-sync-o-vision. Or wait til I fix it, your choice. By the way if the sound is not out of sync for you, please let me know in case it's my computer! And just to update you Trailer Trash next epi is being held up by circumstances beyond my control, but hopefully will be next.

The good news: new trailer trash is coming, work has started. Slight problem, is that when I upgraded my OS, I ended up having to change mail programme, and have lost a great deal of email addresses in the process. I've finally got off my lazy arse, and updated- or more to the point not got off it, but stayed on it. Nothing exciting but Stuff and Nonsense is updated, and some updates have been made to this page too (the latetst toons, actually are the latest toons now). The blog is back updating too.

A brand new thing for you- my first (arguably) successful attempt at Photoshopping. It was made for the occasion of my Bro-in-law's birthday (he likes Penguins and football incidentally). I had a hoot making it so expect more like it soon.

April 2008 marks the 4th year of Monkey Pirate Zombie! At the very least this should mean some celebration and new stuff! I can only apologise for my slackness lately. However HB10 is very close to completion but also I've made a little break through. For the first time I have produced a piece of 100% digital artwork (drawn directly on the computer rather than scanning in handrawn stuff like I normally do) that I was completely satisfied with. This means that I may start doing more art this way (which could make the process of animation quicker- or not). The design was for MPZ's biggest fan but you can see a sample from it here. Let me know what you guys think!Is this new-found digital revolution the way forward?
