The most exciting post ever (not really)
I've got round to updating a few things I should have done ages ago. The Flash Gallery is now up-to-date as is the archive of Back To The Drawing Board. You can also read the latest Blog Posts, with my thoughts on Beowulf and my musing on the Nintendo Wii's first year.
New Back To The Drawing Board up
The title says it all, no need for any embellishment .Click here. Then why not treat yourself to one our snazzy Back To The drawing Board Calendars?
Blog update
If you keep up to date with the news page then you may know about my umming and aahing about whether my decision to integrate the blog stuff with the general news. Although I think it's good to be able to see if the blog's been updated from here, I was worried that if I blogged too much, this page would become bogged down with blog posts which might be a pain if you're here to see cartoons and animations! So as a result I ended up just not updating the blog very often. I've decided therefore that I will update the blog much more frequently, but will only report on them on this page every week or so. Then you can see what I've been blogging about and choose which things interest you. So here it is, the first of these new Blog Updates.
Over the past few days I've been blogging my socks off so there should be something that interests you.
- Pirates 3: At World End- a rollocking good time or a load of soggy seabiscuits?
- 24 Season 7 trailer has been released- but is it time to call it a day?
- Mario Galaxy- the official MPZ verdict
Or just head over to the blog to read the whole darn lot!
Upcoming stuff.....
OK, sorry that I haven't posted anything for a little while but I am currently seeing the world through a slight haze after a (minor) operation on my eye yesterday. Prior to that I had other equally valid excuses, honest. Anyhoos new stuff has been underway for a little while so I thought I'd fill you in on some of the stuff I'm working on, so you know what you've got to look forward to. Right firstly Happy Bunny will be returning soon. He'll be back in a new cartoon around the festive season, but here's the big scoop... also in his very first game. I'm keeping the details under wraps, but I've got a lot of the stuff worked out already. And among other things you can look forward to more trailer Trash and a cartoon that will appeal to fans of the cartoon I did for Big Brother. Keep checking the site out to see the latest stuff! Oh and I have been asked to remind you that Happy Bunny enjoys helping you guys out with your questions or problems- so if you'd like to have your question answered on the site- email him!Labels: site news

The 2008 Back To the Drawing Board Calendar is now available from the store. I did one of these two years ago but completely failed to get me rear into gear this time last year. I've been surprisingly organised and actually got around to doing it in plenty of time! It features 12 of the best B2DB cartoons so far- and is a mix of old and new. Quite literally in fact- Exactly 50% featured in the 2006 calendar and 50% have been done since. So what are you waiting for, go and check it out! If you wanna that is....

If you head over to Back To The Drawing board, you'll find a brand new shiny cartoon. Well, maybe not that shiny, but you won't have seen it before. Go on, be off with you, chop chop!
normality resumes
The regular homepage is back now (Halloween is well and truly over) and will be in it's normal form probably until Christmas now. At the time of writing I haven't put back up the Halloween version so that those of you who missed it can see it- but I will shortly. One other snippit of news. If you sign the guestbook now, unfortunately there will be a delay until your post appears because due to a small amount of abuse/spam I've had to introduce post moderating.Labels: site news
In the run up to Christmas I'm planning on going on a merchandising blitz, bringing out lots of lovely new T-shirts and stuff. To help me out in promoting it then I will be looking for someone to model some stuff (free stuff alert!) so if you fancy a bit of fame check out our join us page for details!
Podcast update 2/11/07
The new trailer trash episode has been released as the latest episode of the podcast, so if you've turned on iTunes- or your podcast software of choice- it should download automatically. Or visit the podcast page and download it directly.
Trailer Trash 7
Ok time to replace my quickie post from last night. I am very pleased to be able to finally bring you.....
This is a new era for TT, where we're moving away from the more 'teaser trailer' feel to more like a proper trailer with more clips from 'the film'. Anyhoo, I had great fun playing with trailer and action movie conventions with this one, and thanks to the VAC forum I was able to assemble a frankly fantastic new voice cast. The very authentic sounding main trailer voice over is provided by the ace John Mondelli. In addition to that the awesome Cop voice (and the criminal) are provided by the very talented Brendon Schofield; the police chief by the top Michael Howell and the sultry sounding lady is provided by the lovely Francine Louise. Shamus appears as himself. Thanks to them all, and I hope you haven't heard the last of them!Labels: animations, flash, site news, Trailer trash
