I was very shocked and saddened by the news of Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond's involvement in a horrific high speed car crash yesterday. This won't mean much to those outside the UK, but Top Gear is a very popular show here about cars. It's popular even with those who don't really care about cars, simply because it is very funny, and Hammond is a key part of this. I really hope he makes a full recovery and my heart goes out to his family and friends.
