So George Lucas has already been warning that Indiana Jones 4 (due 2008) is going to disappoint a lot of people, as it has a lot to live up to. Way to go Georgie, this is exactly the kind of thing you should keep doing to make even the fans that haven't already seen their goodwill stretched to breaking point by three godawful Star wars prequels desert you. The most worrying part of this report? "We're basically going to do the Phantom Menace". In what way? It can't be a prequel, noones going to accept Harrison Ford playing younger than in the originals. So he must mean it in the 'going to disappoint millions' sense then. This is an interesting way to promote your film. Especially when many people thing Indy 4 should have never even been greenlit. Harrison Ford is basically way too old to be Indy again now. That said, I would only be too happy to be proved wrong. I'd love for the 4th film to be great and sit proudly aside the originals. Sadly at this point I can't see that happening. Still, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
