In memoriam

It is with great sadness that I report, that a couple of days ago, suddenly and without warning, my toaster passed away. After many happy years it came as quite a shock. We've had many happy times together, mainly bakery product related. I like to think that it was more than merely a business relationship, but a friendship too. Bread, crumpets, bagels he toasted them all. Toasty Tim, as he was known, didn't even mind on the occasions that I may have even used him to toast poptarts ( I was young, I knew no better).

I'll move on and get a new toaster, but frankly it's most inconvenient. Toasty Tim was no longer in warranty- Damn it! Why did you leave me?! At least he's in a better place now. Rest in Peace old friend.
